ingredients

6 quarts chicken stock
6 ounces fresh ginger, peeled and cut into ¼-inch slices
12 star anise pods
3/4 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce

directions

Bring stock, ginger and star anise to simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, 10 minutes. Strain; add soy sauce.

Serving suggestion: Pour heated broth over cooked thin noodles; garnish with cooked shrimp, snow peas and cilantro.
