Umami Skillet Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients


Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 7 minutes
Total Time: 12 minutes

1 pound Brussels sprouts
Cooking oil
½ cup water
1 ½ tablespoon Kikkoman® Smooth Aromatic Shoyu

Instructions

  1. Halve sprouts through the stem.
  2. In medium high heat, pour enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet. Place Brussels sprouts cut side down.
  3. Pour water over Brussels sprouts. Cover and let steam for 5 minutes. Turn heat down to medium and cook for 2 minutes. Remove the lid and let the water evaporate, do not shake the pan.
  4. When the Brussels sprouts are brown and crispy. Toss with Kikkoman Smooth Aromatic Shoyu and serve.
