Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Fire up the slow cooker for a hearty family dinner. Slow cooker recipes are ideal for busy families since they minimize the prep time and let you just dump in all the ingredients. Kids can easily help out in the kitchen for this one! To prepare this comfort food classic, simply brown the ground turkey briefly, then combine all the ingredients in your slow cooker for an instant weeknight dinner. Serve with your favorite taco fixings or nacho toppings.

Total Time: 4 hours, 20 minutes

2 pounds lean ground turkey
1 cup sweet white onion, chopped
1 ½ cups green bell pepper, chopped
2 15-ounce cans diced fire roasted tomatoes with chilies
1 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained
3 cups beef or chicken stock
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons cumin
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Topping suggestions:
green onion, chopped
cilantro, chopped
cheddar cheese, shredded
sour cream


  1. Brown ground turkey over medium heat in a medium skillet for 10 minutes.
  2. Add turkey to crockpot along with remaining ingredients. Stir well. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Ladle chili into bowls and serve hot with desired toppings.
