These zingy wings are great as part of a game day appetizer platter, with a side of rice and salad for dinner, or served as a pre-dinner nibble. Coat them in homemade wing sauce, made with a sweet base of brown sugar and a spicy touch of Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce.
2 pounds chicken wing pieces ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce ½ cup light brown sugar 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar ¼ teaspoon onion powder
Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Blot chicken wings dry with paper towel and place in a medium mixing bowl.
Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Once butter melts stir in sriracha, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and onion powder until brown sugar dissolves, about 4 minutes. Cool mixture for 10 minutes at room temperature. Reserve ¼ cup of mixture in a small bowl and set aside. Pour remaining sauce over wings and stir to coat.
Place wings onto baking sheet about ½ inch apart and bake for 25 minutes. Use tongs to turn wings and bake an additional 20-25 minutes. Cool wings 5 minutes at room temperature to allow skin to crisp. Drizzle reserved sauce over wings and enjoy.
