Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

⅓ cup Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon cane sugar
⅛ teaspoon cracked black pepper
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 large eggs, beaten
4 cups cooked white rice, chilled
¼ cup chopped green onion
½ cup Thai basil leaves

  1. Stir together soy sauce, sugar and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once butter is melted add beaten eggs. Cook for 3-4 minutes, using a spatula to scramble eggs.
  3. Add cooked rice to egg mixture and stir to combine. Allow rice to crisp in pan for 5 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking.
  4. Pour in sauce and stir, coating rice. Stir in green onion and Thai basil. Cook 1 minute to wilt basil. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy hot.
