1 large head of red cabbage 1 ½ + ½ tablespoons Kikkoman® Sesame Oil, divided Salt and pepper to taste For the Dressing ¼ cup olive oil ⅓ cup Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar 2 large carrots, peeled and chopped 2 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped 2 tablespoons lime juice 1 tablespoon honey Salt to taste Cilantro to garnish
Instructions
Pre-heat grill to medium-high.
While the grill heats up, prepare the cabbage. Slice into wedges. Use toothpicks to keep the cabbage together when grilling. Cover on all sides with 1 ½ tablespoons of sesame oil, salt and pepper.
Once the grill is hot enough, place cabbage directly on the grill. Grill cabbage for 5-6 minutes, carefully flip, and grill for another 2-3 minutes depending on the thickness and until tender on the inside, but crispy on the outside.
In a blender or food processor, puree olive oil, rice vinegar, carrots, ginger, lime juice, honey, ½ tablespoon sesame oil and salt until smooth.
Top the grilled cabbage wedges with cilantro and carrot-ginger dressing. Enjoy!
