ingredients

½ cup olive oil
¼ cup Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
¼ cup Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup flat leaf parsley
½ cup cilantro
½ teaspoon dried oregano
1 clove garlic
1 small shallot
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 pounds skirt or flank steak

directions

  1. Combine olive oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, parsley, cilantro, oregano, garlic, shallot, and red pepper flakes in a food processor and blend until shallot and garlic are finely chopped.
  2. Reserve ⅓ cup of sauce and pour the rest over steak in a shallow bowl or dish. Cover and marinate 2-4 hours.
  3. Heat a greased cast iron grill pan over medium-high heat for 4 minutes. Discard marinade. Place steak on skillet and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. Rest steak for 10 minutes before slicing against grain. Serve with remaining sauce.
