Teriyaki Chicken Waffle Fries

Teriyaki Chicken Waffle Fries | Loaded waffle fries with teriyaki chicken are a fun finger food recipe — perfect for delicious game day eats, movie night appetizers, or an easy afternoon snack! They have a sweet umami taste that will leave everyone wanting more. Pair with other easy bites to enjoy a whole buffet of appetizers for dinner! The teriyaki shredded chicken also tastes incredible in taco shells or served over rice and steamed veggies for dinner.

1 pound frozen sweet potato or traditional waffle fries, frozen
½ pound cooked shredded chicken
½ cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Original
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
½ cup purple cabbage
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 tablespoons sliced pickled jalapeño


  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spread waffle fries on a parchment paper lined sheet pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  2. While fries are baking, combine cooked chicken and teriyaki takumi sauce. Stir well to coat chicken.
  3. Remove waffle fries from oven and top with shredded cheese followed by shredded chicken. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and waffle fries are crisp.
  4. Serve fries topped with shredded cabbage, cilantro, green onion and sliced jalapeños.
