Teriyaki Takumi Glazed Carrots

Teriyaki Takumi Glazed Carrots | All you need is 4 ingredients to cook up a quick and easy side dish for the holidays. Give oven-roasted carrots rich flavor with a teriyaki glaze, then dress the dish with pomegranate arils and chopped parsley. Pair these sweet and savory carrots with your favorite roasted entrées for Thanksgiving and Christmas, serve them with a Sunday roast dinner, or they’re simple enough to prepare on a weeknight.

Ingredients

Yield: Serves 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

2 pounds small-medium carrots, washed, stems trimmed and sliced in half lengthwise
½ cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Original
2 tablespoons pomegranate arils
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF and line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread carrots on baking sheet and drizzle with ¼ cup teriyaki takumi. Toss to coat. Roast for 15 minutes.
  2. Drizzle carrots with remaining teriyaki takumi and use tongs to gently toss. Roast for 10-15 minutes longer, until carrots are fork tender.
  3. Transfer carrots to a serving platter and top with pomegranate arils and chopped parsley. Serve hot.
