ingredients

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

1 tube of buttermilk biscuits (16 ounces)

directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Whisk together melted butter, soy sauce, garlic, Parmesan and parsley in a small bowl.
  2. Slice each biscuit in half to make 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a 5-inch rope and tie into a knot. Tuck the ends behind each knot and place on baking sheet. Brush knots with half of the butter mixture and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Remove from oven and brush hot garlic knots with remaining butter mixture. Serve warm.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
