Umami Garlic Knots | These bread knots are savory, soft, and buttery: the perfect side to just about any entrée and a flavorful alternative to dinner rolls. They’re easy to make and come together in minutes, or you can go the extra mile with homemade biscuit dough from a favorite family recipe for a personal touch. Try them with roast beef, lasagna, or alongside a hearty stew to help soak up any sauce left on the plate. Or serve with soup as an afternoon snack!
Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Whisk together melted butter, soy sauce, garlic, Parmesan and parsley in a small bowl.
Slice each biscuit in half to make 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a 5-inch rope and tie into a knot. Tuck the ends behind each knot and place on baking sheet. Brush knots with half of the butter mixture and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from oven and brush hot garlic knots with remaining butter mixture. Serve warm.
