ingredients

1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons Thai fish sauce (nam pla)
2 tablespoons Kikkoman Thai Style Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup sliced shallots
2 large cloves garlic, minced
1 package (9 oz.) frozen French-cut green beans,
thawed and drained
1/2 cup packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Hot cooked rice

directions

  1. Combine cornstarch, fish sauce, chili sauce and 3/4 cup water.
  2. Heat oil in wok or large skillet over high heat until hot. Add pork, shallots and garlic; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add green beans; stir-fry 2 minutes.
  3. Stir chili sauce mixture; pour into pan. Cook, stirring, 1 minute, until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat; add basil and stir until wilted.
  4. Serve over rice.
