ingredients

⅓ cup olive oil
¼ cup Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
¼ cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons gold tequila
⅓ cup finely chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 pound raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 2-inch cubes
4 medium limes, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

directions

  1. Stir together olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, tequila, cilantro, cumin, and garlic in a small bowl.
  2. Blot steak and shrimp dry with paper towel and place into separate dishes.
  3. Pour half of the marinade over shrimp and the other half over steak. Gently stir to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  5. Thread steak, lime slices and shrimp onto 10-12 skewers. Discard marinade.
  6. Heat grill to 400ºF and lightly grease with vegetable oil. Once grill is hot, add skewers and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Serve hot.
