ingredients

6 ounces penne pasta
2 ounces bacon
1 chili pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, chopped
¼ cup white wine
½ can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Soy Sauce

For serving:
Parmesan cheese
Basil leaves

directions

  1. Boil the penne according to the directions on the package.
  2. Cut bacon into ⅓-inch pieces.
  3. Remove seeds from chili pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in fry pan, add garlic and chili pepper and sauté to bring out aroma.
  5. Add white wine and canned tomatoes to pan, simmer on mid to low heat for 7-8 minutes, then add soy sauce.
  6. Mix in penne.
  7. Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
