ingredients

1 tablespoon instant minced onion
2 tablespoons Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1 pound lean ground beef
1 slice bread, shredded
1 egg
3 tablespoons Kikkoman Hoisin Sauce

directions

  1. Combine onion and soy sauce in a medium-size bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Add beef, bread and egg and thoroughly mix together. Shape mixture into four patties; place on rack of broiler pan.
  3. Broil patties 4 inches from heat source 4 to 5 minutes on each side, to at least medium doneness (160ºF.).
  4. Remove patties from pan and brush tops generously with hoisin sauce.
