ingredients

1 Red onion

1 Brown onion

1 tablespoons of Salt

6 Ham (preferably turkey ham)

3 sheets Shiso leaves 

Coarse ground black pepper a pinch

 

Dressing (A):

3 tablespoons of Kikkoman®Soy Sauce 

2 tablespoons of Kikkoman®Rice Vinegar 

1 tablespoon of Honey

1 tablespoon of Kikkoman®Sesame Oil

1 tablespoons of Chicken soup stock granules 

Toasted sesame seeds, to taste (optional)

directions

  1. Slice the red and brown onions thinly. Cut the ham into halves and slice into 1cm widths.
  2. Have a large bowl, Mix red and brown onions, sprinkle with salt, mix well, and let them sit for about 10 minutes until softened.
  3. Squeeze out the moisture from the onions.
  4. Prepare the dressing by combining ingredients A. 
  5. Mix together the onions, ham, and dressing.
  6. Garnish with shredded shiso leaves. Sprinkle with coarse ground black pepper to taste.

***Optionally, mix with myoga for added flavor.
