⅓ cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Takumi, Korean BBQ, divided

  1. Soak a cedar plank in water for 1-2 hours. Pat plank dry. Place salmon filets on plank and brush with half of the Takumi sauce. Set aside.
  2. Preheat outdoor grill to 400-450ºF. Leave one burner off and place the cedar plank on grill over indirect heat. Cook for 20 minutes. Brush salmon with remaining Takumi sauce. Continue to cook until salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily, 10-15 minutes longer.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
