ingredients

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
3 oz goat cheese
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/2 – 3/4 tsp dried minced garlic
1 tsp Kikkoman® Wasabi Sauce
1/4 tsp Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
1 1/2 cups green onions, chopped and separated
2 sheets nori, cut into small pieces with scissors
2 tbsp mix of black and white roasted sesame seeds
1 – 2 pkgs rice crackers

directions

In a bowl, mix the cream and goat cheese with a fork until thoroughly combined. Mix in the wasabi sauce, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil. Fold in a 1/2 cup of green onions.

Transfer the cheese mix to a sheet of plastic wrap. Form into a ball. Use more plastic wrap as needed. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Remove the cheese ball from the plastic wrap and sprinkle with the remaining green onions as well as the nori and sesame seeds. You can also mix the green onion, nori and sesame seeds in a bowl and roll the ball in the mixture.

Place on a platter and serve with rice crackers.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
