- Cut your low moisture mozzarella cheese block into 8 1-inch-thick rectangles.
- In 3 different bowls, place flour, beaten eggs and panko in each.
- Add onion powder, cayenne, and oregano to the panko and mix.
- Coat each cheese rectangle by dipping in egg wash, then flour, back to egg wash, and then panko.
- Once all cheese pieces are coated, place in the freezer for 45 minutes to chill.
- To make hot honey sauce, mix sriracha and honey with garlic powder and red pepper flakes.
- Pour canola oil into a pan to shallow fry your mozzarella sticks.
- Fry mozzarella in the pan until each side is golden brown.
- Once done frying, place mozzarella sticks on a wire rack and coat with hot honey sauce.
