- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water and boil for 6 minutes for the perfect soft-
boiled eggs. - Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 15 minutes to cool down.
- Crack and peel the eggs. Set them aside.
- To make the marinade, combine soy sauce, water, mirin, and sugar.
- Place the peeled eggs in a small container or bag. Pour the prepared marinade over the eggs and let them
marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours or overnight. - Enjoy the eggs as a snack or as ramen topping.
