ingredients

3-4 tbsp Kikkoman®Teriyaki Takumi, Original

17oz chicken thighs

2oz scallions

 

2 quarts and 3 tbsp vegetable oil, divided

1 tbsp garlic, minced

 

Cooked Rice

 

Batter:

1 large egg

2 tbsp sake

2 tbsp water

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/4 tsp baking soda

directions

1. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.

2. Combine the batter ingredients and mix well. Dip the chicken into the batter and deep fry until the chicken is golden brown.

3. Chop scallions into 2-inch pieces. Heat the frying pan, add oil, and fry minced garlic.

4. Add scallions and fry for 2 minutes.

5. Add chicken and 3-4 Tbsp Takumi sauce and mix well.

6. Serve with rice.
