White Wine, Lemon and Shallot Sauce

Yield: 24 (2-ounce) servings

kikkoman products used:

ingredients

1 quart white wine
1/2 cup flour
6 cups chicken stock
1 cup lemon juice
1-1/2 cups Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce
2 cups minced shallots
1/4 cup garlic purée
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon pepper, or to taste

directions

In saucepan, reduce wine to 2 cups over medium heat. Gradually sprinkle in flour, whisking until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer to reach sauce consistency. Pass sauce through strainer; discard solids. Keep sauce hot.
