- Lightly grease air fryer basket with cooking spray. Add flour to a shallow bowl. Combine egg and buttermilk in a separate shallow bowl and whisk to combine. Add panko, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic to a third bowl. Coat each chicken thigh in flour, followed by egg and lastly bread crumbs.
- Place chicken thighs in air fryer with space in between and cook at 400ºF for 15-16 minutes.
- While chicken cooks, make waffles by combining flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, egg, melted butter and vanilla extract to a separate bowl. Whisk well to combine. Gradually whisk wet ingredients into dry. Grease a Belgian waffle maker and heat according to directions. Add ½ cup of waffle batter to waffle maker and close lid. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir together maple syrup and sriracha in a small bowl. Slice waffle into four equal triangles. Serve air-fried chicken on waffles drizzled with sriracha maple syrup.
