ingredients

½ cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
¼ cup honey
½ cup balsamic vinegar
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper

Place fish steaks in a single layer in a large shallow pan.  Mix together soy sauce, honey, balsamic vinegar, crushed red pepper and cilantro.  Reserve ¼ cup of marinade, pour the rest over the salmon, turn fish over to coat.  Refrigerate and let marinate at least 45 minutes.
Preheat the broiler.  Broil fish for about 12 minutes, brushing with reserved marinade until fish is done and the top is carmelized.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
