- Boil boba pearls according to package directions until just slightly undercooked, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat tea, brown sugar and soy sauce over medium-low heat in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in cooked boba pearls. Simmer for 3 minutes longer.
- Pour syrup mixture into a jar and refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill.
- Add desired amount of boba pearls and syrup to a glass and top with ice. Add desired amount and type of milk and enjoy.
