About this recipe

This teriyaki turkey burger is a flavorful, satisfying twist on a classic. Lean ground turkey is seasoned with garlic, ginger, and a touch of teriyaki glaze, then grilled and topped with a crisp, lime-dressed slaw for the perfect mix of savory and fresh. It’s a great option if you’re looking for new recipes with ground turkey that are both simple and packed with flavor.

Tips & Tricks

  • Cooking in a cast iron pan or on a grill works equally well – just be sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • For an extra flavor boost, brush on additional teriyaki glaze just before serving.
  • The slaw can be prepped a few hours in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
  • Swap in brioche or whole grain buns depending on your taste, or skip the bun and serve over greens for a lighter version.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
