ingredients

For Burgers
1 pound ground turkey
¼ cup chopped pickled jalapeños
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons minced chives
1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

For Chipotle Mayonnaise
½ cup mayonnaise
½ teaspoon chipotle powder
½ teaspoon ground turmeric
Pinch of garlic powder

Optional ingredients for serving: burger buns, lettuce, tomato, pickles

directions

  1. Combine ingredients for burgers in a medium mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Form mixture into 4 large burger patties and place onto a piece of wax paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Add 2 burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Repeat with remaining burgers.
  3. Stir together ingredients for chipotle mayonnaise in a small bowl. Assemble burgers on buns and top with chipotle mayonnaise. Enjoy right away.
