ingredients

1 cup Brussels sprouts, shredded
½ cup matchstick carrots
½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
¼ cup + ½ cup Kikkoman® Hoisin Sauce (divided)
1 pre-made pizza crust
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup cilantro, chopped for garnish
¼ cup creamy natural peanut butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar
2 teaspoons honey

directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF. In a medium mixing bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, carrots and red onion. Drizzle sesame oil on top and toss to coat. Set aside. In a separate medium mixing bowl, toss chicken in ¼ cup of hoisin sauce.
  2. Spread remaining ½ cup of hoisin sauce on pizza crust. Top with mozzarella cheese and shredded chicken. Evenly spread Brussels sprout mixture on top. Transfer pizza to oven and bake for 13-15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  3. While pizza bakes, in a small bowl stir together peanut butter, rice vinegar and honey for peanut sauce. Remove pizza from oven and drizzle with peanut sauce. Garnish with cilantro. Slice into triangles and serve hot.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
