1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 can (10 oz.) diced tomatoes & green chilies
1 teaspoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

  1. Brown beef with onion in 10-inch oven-proof skillet with lid. Stir in tomatoes, soy sauce and 1 cup water; bring to boil. Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer about 12 minutes, or until macaroni is tender.

  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Add cheese and corn to macaroni mixture. Increase heat to medium; cook, stirring, until cheese melts. Remove from heat; spoon bread crumbs mixture evenly on top.
  5. Broil about 1 minute, or until topping is lightly browned.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
