- Slice tofu into four 1-inch slices. Place tofu slices between a few pieces of paper towel to remove excess liquid. Repeat a few times. Transfer to a shallow dish and pour Takumi sauce over tofu. Move tofu around to coat evenly. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place marinated tofu on baking sheet and bake 25-30 minutes, until tofu steaks are golden brown, and sauce is caramelized.
- While tofu bakes, combine ingredients for slaw in a large bowl and stir well to combine.
- Serve slaw chilled topped with warm baked tofu.
