ingredients

2 tbsp Kikkoman®Teriyaki Takumi, Gochujang Spicy Miso

1 tbsp Kikkoman®Sesame Oil

 

1 Chicken Breast

 

1/2 cup Kikkoman®Memmi Noodle Soup Base

6 cups water

 

4bundles of somen

 

Toppings:

2 green onions

2 boiled eggs

4 Japanese Salted Plums (optional)

directions

1. Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes.

2. Boil water in a large pot, add chicken over medium-high heat, and cook for about 8-10 minutes. Water should completely cover the chicken. Drain well and marinate with 2 tbsp takumi sauce and 1 tbsp sesame oil. Let it sit.

3. Boil 6 cups of water and add memmi noodle soup base. Pour into the bowls.

4. Cook the somen noodles according to the package directions. Put into the bowls.

5. Add cooked chicken over the noodles.

6. Garnish with finely sliced green onions, boiled eggs, and salted plums (optional)
