Generously oil a large sheet pan (11×17); set aside. In a medium non-stick saucepan combine the Sweet Soy Sauce, sugar, cream of tartar and corn syrup. Boil over medium heat until it reaches 320° on a candy thermometer and is a deep golden brown. Remove from the heat and add in the butter, then mix in the sesame seeds and baking soda. Pour the mixture onto the oil sheet pan; spread it out evenly. Let harden uncovered in a cool place for 45 minutes. Break into desired size pieces. Store in an airtight container.
