Keep a bottle in your pantry, and you can enjoy mouthwatering glazed salmon teriyaki any time the craving strikes.

Tips & Tricks

  • You can cook this Teriyaki Glazed Salmon on the grill or broil it on a foil-lined pan in the oven.
  • Serve the salmon over steamed white, brown, or jasmine rice or your favorite grain—like quinoa, bulghur, couscous, or barley—with grilled, roasted or steamed vegetables on the side.
  • If desired, garnish with toasted sesame seeds and/or thinly sliced green onions.
  • This recipe works well with other firm-fleshed fish fillets, such as halibut, mahi mahi, salmon, striped bass or tuna, as well as peeled and deveined shrimp.
  • If you have leftovers, chill it in the refrigerator, flake it in a mixing bowl and stir in mayo and a splash of Kikkoman® Sesame Oil to make a teriyaki salmon salad; serve over greens or in a sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
  • To add a little extra heat, add up to a tablespoon of Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce in step 2.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
