ingredients

For the Tofu Marinade:​
1 package of firm tofu​
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Ponzu ​
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Rice Vinegar​
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Hoisin Sauce ​
1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Sesame Oil​
1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup​

For Serving:​
1 baguette ​
2 tablespoons spicy mayo​
Pickled veggies (jalapeño, red onion, cucumber)​
Cilantro​
1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Ponzu

directions

  1. Start by draining and pressing your tofu to remove excess water​
  2. Slice your tofu into small strips and add to a container​
  3. Add remaining marinade ingredients to the container, cover with a lid and then shake to combine. Place in the fridge to marinate for at least half an hour.​
  4. Once marinated, add a little bit of oil to a nonstick pan over medium heat.​
  5. Place your tofu and let crisp on each side for about 5 minutes. Once crispy, set aside. ​
  6. Warm up your baguette then slice. Add a layer of spicy mayo, your crispy tofu, pickled veggies, cilantro, and then more ponzu.​
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
