A rich and creamy vegan mayo featuring the smooth texture of Kikkoman Soy Milk and the sweet-savory flavors of Kikkoman Korean BBQ Sauce. Enhanced with a touch of umami, this versatile sauce is perfect for burgers, sandwiches, rice bowls, coleslaw, fries, grilled vegetables, and dipping applications.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups avocado oil (or neutral oil)
  • 1 cup Kikkoman Soy Milk
  • 5 Tbsp Kikkoman Korean BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Kikkoman Fish Sauce
  • salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare ingredients.
    Measure all ingredients and have them ready before beginning the emulsification process.
  2. Emulsify the mayo.
    With the blender running on medium-high speed, blend Kikkoman Soy Milk. Slowly drizzle in the avocado oil while blending continuously. Continue blending until thick, creamy, and fully emulsified.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
    Add Kikkoman Korean BBQ Sauce, Kikkoman Fish Sauce, and salt. Blend until smooth and evenly incorporated.
  4. Adjust seasoning.
    Taste and adjust salt as needed. For a sweeter profile, add an additional tablespoon of Kikkoman Korean BBQ Sauce. For a thinner consistency, blend in 1–2 tablespoons of water until desired texture is reached.
  5. Use or store.
    Transfer to a clean container and refrigerate before serving. Ideal as a spread for burgers and sandwiches, a finishing sauce for rice bowls and tacos, or a dip for fries and grilled vegetables.

 

Storage Tips:

  • Refrigerate: Up to 5 days in an airtight container.

  • Stir before serving if slight separation occurs.
