Sweet Chili Meatballs

Quick dinner, easy appetizer, or Asian-inspired meatball sub — these versatile meatballs are perfect in every way. Super simple pork meatballs come together in just over 30 minutes, baked in the oven for a flavorful dish that you can prepare with minimal effort. Serve over rice or noodles with salad greens for dinner, drizzle with sauce for a holiday appetizer, scoop into lettuce wraps as an afternoon snack, or add them to crunchy baguette with a spicy slaw topping.

Total Time: 35 minutes

1 pound ground pork
½ cups Kikkoman® Panko Bread Crumbs
¼ cup cilantro
2 green onions, chopped
1 egg
1 tablespoon Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
½ teaspoon Kikkoman ® Sesame Oil
½ tablespoon ginger, minced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
½ lime, zested
½ bottle of Kikkoman® Gluten-Free Sweet Chili Sauce


  1. Preheat oven to 425˚F
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, panko, cilantro, green onions, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and lime zest. Form into balls 2 tablespoons each and place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  3. Bake for 20-25 mins or until cooked
  4. While meatballs cook, heat sweet chili sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
  5. Drizzle sauce over meatballs and serve alone as an appetizer or alongside rice or noodles.
