  1. Slice chicken into 2-inch pieces and pat dry with paper towel. Pour flour in a shallow bowl. Whisk egg in a second bowl. Stir together panko, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper in a third bowl. Dip each piece of chicken in flour followed by egg and lastly in panko mixture.
  2. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in 2 batches, place chicken in basket of air fryer leaving space between for air to flow. Mist with cooking spray. Air fry at 400ºF for 4 minutes. Flip chicken bites using tongs and air fry 4 minutes longer. Remove chicken bites from air fryer and cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  3. While chicken cooks, stir together ingredients for dipping sauce. Serve chicken bites hot with dipping sauce.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
