ingredients

1 pound ground pork
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
¼ cup finely chopped green onion
2 teaspoons peeled grated ginger
1 peeled/minced garlic clove
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

For Cabbage Salad Topping
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded green cabbage
2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon honey
¼ teaspoon salt

For Sriracha Mayonnaise
½ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Kikkoman® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce

For Serving
½ cup English cucumber, peeled into ribbons using vegetable peeler
¼ cup cilantro
Brioche buns

directions

  1. Combine shredded carrots, cabbage, jalapeños, lime juice, honey and salt in a small bowl. Stir well. Refrigerate while prepping burgers.
  2. Stir together ingredients for sriracha mayonnaise in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Combine ingredients for burgers in a medium mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Form into 4 thin patties, about ¼ – ½ inch thick.
  4. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side.
  5. Spread a spoonful of sriracha mayonnaise on the bottoms of 4 burger buns. Place a patty on each bun, then top with cucumber ribbons, cabbage salad and fresh cilantro. Add bun tops and serve right away.
