- Stir together ingredients for dipping sauce. Set aside.
- Press tofu gently between paper towels to remove excess liquid. Place in a bowl and coat in ½ of the Kara-Áge coating mix. Set aside.
- Heat ½-inch of oil in a deep frying pan to 350ºF. Once oil is hot, coat tofu in remaining Kara-Áge mix and place into hot oil, leaving space in between each piece. Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until crisp and golden brown.
- Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to soak up excess oil.
- Serve tofu warm with lime wedges and dipping sauce.
