Udon noodles are tossed with a savory-sweet sauce made from Kikkoman® Soy Sauce, kimchi juice, and a hint of brown sugar, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Finished with crunchy green onions and sesame seeds, this dish is simple, delicious, and ready in just 16 minutes.

8 ounces udon noodles
¼ cup vegetable or chicken broth 
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons kimchi juice
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 cup kimchi  

For Serving
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
1 teaspoon sesame seeds 

directions

  1. Cook udon noodles according to package directions, 8-9 minutes. While noodles cook, stir together broth, soy sauce, kimchi juice, and brown sugar until brown sugar is dissolved. 
  2. Add cooked noodles and kimchi to a skillet over low heat. Pour sauce on top and gently toss to coat. Heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Serve noodles hot garnished with green onion and sesame seeds.
