1 lb Ground Pork

1 lb Lotus Root

3-4 Mushroom, diced 

3 Garlic cloves, minced

2 Green onions, chopped

1 Egg

1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

1 cup Flour

 

Sauce:

Soy Sauce 4 tbsp

Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp

Sesame Oil 1 tbsp

Rice Wine 2 tbsp

directions

  1. Cut a few slices of lotus root, then dice the rest, wash, and soak in water for later use.
  2. Add ground pork in a bowl with green onions, garlic, mushroom, diced lotus root, and an egg.
  3. Add all the seasonings and bread crumbs into the bowl, and mix evenly. 
  4. Shape it, dip the sliced lotus root with flour, and stick it onto the patty.
  5. Heat the oil to medium-high heat, then pan-fry the lotus root cake.
  6. Fry until both sides turn golden brown, then it’s done!
