2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/3 cup Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki Sauce
2 cans (14 oz each) less sodium beef broth
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
6 slices provolone cheese
6 slices (each about 1-inck thick) French bread toasted

Add broth and black pepper, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, place 1 cheese slice over each toasted bread slice and broil until cheese melts and is golden brown. Divide soup evenly into 6 indivdual soup bowls. Place bread slices on top and serve immediately.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
