- Stir together ingredients for burger sauce. Refrigerate until serving.
- Mix together ground beef, soy sauce, garlic powder and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Form meat into 6 balls and press onto tortillas.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking oil. Once the skillet is very hot, place tortilla on skillet meat side down. Press the tortilla with a spatula to further smash the burger. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Flip tortilla and immediately top with cheese. Cover with the lid and cook 1 minute longer to melt cheese. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Top each smash burger taco with lettuce, tomato, pickles and drizzle with burger sauce. Enjoy right away.
