- Preheat a sauté pan and add in the vegetable oil. When the pan is hot, add in the ground chicken, season with salt and black pepper.
- Allow the chicken to sear and brown on both sides, breaking it apart with a spoon. After about 5 minutes, add in the shallot, garlic, and ginger.
- Sauté for another 3-5 minutes, then lower the heat and add in takumi. Stir to combine.
- Place a large spoonful of chicken in the center of each piece of butter lettuce.
- Garnish the lettuce wraps with toppings of your choice: peanuts, carrots, radish, scallion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Use additional takumi for dipping.
