A blend of traditionally brewed Kikkoman® Soy Sauce, sugar, vinegar, accented with onion, garlic and ginger, Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze has the sweet-savory flavor and umami of our Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, and it’s pre-thickened so you can brush on foods right from the bottle for a lustrous, mouthwatering glazed finish without the need for mixing, measuring or simmering. You can also use it as a base to make your own creative sauces or add it to stir-fries and braised dishes. How to use Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze
Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze makes it easy to enjoy teriyaki chicken, salmon, steak, burgers, tofu, or shrimp with a rich, sweet-savory restaurant-style teriyaki glaze at home any time. Use it to baste foods during the last few minutes of grilling, roasting, or broiling—or, even easier, brush it on after foods come off the grill or out of the oven, just before serving.- Grilling, broiling, and roasting – Brush Kikkoman® Teriyaki Baste & Glaze onto foods during the last few minutes of cooking or just before serving.
- Sauces – Add to sauces to enhance umami, add sweetness, and thicken.
- Stir-fry and fried rice – Add to stir-fries and fried rice to boost umami and sweet savory flavor.
- Use with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce – If you want more teriyaki flavor, marinate meat, poultry or seafood in Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, then grill, bake, or broil, and brush on Teriyaki Baste & Glaze toward the end of cooking or just before serving.

For the best quality, we recommend refrigerating and using the sauce promptly. Once opened, the quality of the sauce will decline faster. How the product is stored and handled will also affect its quality. As a guideline, we suggest using the product within a month of opening and checking the quality and freshness of the opened sauce before each use. However, if at any time the product has an unusual taste or smell, it should not be used.
