ingredients

8oz salmon fillet 

½ tablespoon grated ginger 

1 clove grated garlic 

2 tablespoons Kikkoman®Ponzu Sauce 

1 tablespoons lemon juice 

1 teaspoons sugar 

1 tablespoons thinly sliced scallions 

1 teaspoons vegetable oil

directions

  1. Mix ginger, garlic, ponzu sauce, sugar, lemon juice together. 
  2. Add salmon and turn to coat, and marinade for 20 minutes. 
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large frypan over medium-high heat. Remove salmon from marinade, reserving marinade. 
  4. Cook salmon with skin-side down for 2 minutes. Turn and cook for a further 2-5 minutes according to the thickness of your salmon filet. Set aside. 
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add reserved marinade, bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened. 
  6. Drizzle salmon with sauce and garnish with scallion.
