- Combine less sodium teriyaki marinade & sauce, lemon peel and red pepper; pour over chicken in large plastic food storage bag. Press air out of bag; close top securely. Refrigerate 1 hour, turning bag over occasionally.
- Remove chicken and place on grill 4 to 5 inches from hot coals. Cook 12 to 14 minutes, or until no longer pink in center. (Or, reserving marinade, remove chicken and place, skin side down, on rack of broiler pan; brush with reserved marinade. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 8 minutes; turn over and brush with remaining marinade. Broil 6 minutes longer, or until no longer pink in center.)
