- Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, mirin, honey green onion, ginger and garlic in a bowl and whisk until well incorporated. Set aside 1/4 cup mixture for dipping.
- Place tuna in a shallow dish and pour the remaining marinade over the top. Marinate steaks in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Mix sesame seeds in a large bowl. Dip steaks in sesame seed until fully covered on all sides.
- Pan-fry steaks over medium-high heat in a small amount of oil for 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side. Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes. Slice, and serve with reserved dipping marinade.
NOTES:
Cut down the cook time drastically. 3 minutes on each side was way overcooked.
