ingredients

3 tablespoons Kikkoman regular or Gluten-Free Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Kikkoman Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon Kikkoman Rice Vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon Kikkoman Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup diced onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
Iceberg or butter lettuce cups
Chopped roasted peanuts

directions

Whisk together first 9 ingredients in bowl, set aside. In large skillet or wok, brown turkey with onion in hot oil over medium-high heat 5 minutes, or until turkey is cooked and no longer pink.  Add bell pepper. Stir-fry 1 minute longer.  Stir in reserved sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir 2 minutes to reduce sauce. To serve, spoon about 1/4 cup turkey mixture into lettuce cups and sprinkle with peanuts.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
