About

Use this versatile vinaigrette three ways:
  1. As a marinade for steak
  2. As a dipping sauce for dumplings
  3. As a dressing in a mixed green and heirloom tomato salad

Ingredients

1 cup Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
1 cup of neutral oil
¼ cup fresh lime juice
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon chili crisp
1 small shallot, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced

Substitutions

  • For neutral oil, we recommend using grapeseed, canola, or vegetable oil. If you do not have these on hand, olive oil works as well.
  • If fresh lime juice is unavailable, substitute with rice wine vinegar.

Directions

  1. Combine soy sauce, neutral oil, lime juice, honey, and chili crisp in a bowl.
  2. Add in the minced shallot and garlic.
  3. Whisk well until the vinaigrette becomes emulsified and well combined.
  4. Add to a container with a lid and store in the fridge until ready to use.
