Yuzu Ponzu Chicken

Ingredients

¼ cup Kikkoman® Yuzu Ponzu 
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon dried thyme 
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon salt 
1 teaspoon black pepper
⅓ cup olive oil 
3 pounds chicken thighs

For Glaze

¼ cup Kikkoman® Yuzu Ponzu 
¼ cup honey 
1 lemon, zested

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.​
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the yuzu ponzu, garlic, thyme, ginger paste, salt, black pepper, and olive oil.​
  3. Add chicken thighs to the marinade making sure they’re fully submerged. ​
  4. Heat a skillet on medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sear the thighs skin side down, flipping once the chicken has some color (about 2 minutes).​
  5. Remove chicken and make glaze by adding honey, yuzu ponzu, and lemon zest to the skillet.​
  6. Place chicken back in the pan and place in the oven to finish fully cooking for 35 minutes. ​
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables, with extra sauce on the side if desired.
